Residents of Kegogi in Keroka Nyamira County were left in shock after a 29-year-old man was busted engaging in illicit sex with his own cow.
Witnesses said Peter Mariara was caught in the act inside a banana plantation where he had taken his cow for grazing.
"I spotted Mariara driving the cow into a banana farm at around 3pm. He took too long to come out and this is when I suspected something bad was happening. I stormed the banana plantation and found him naked doing sex with the cow,"said Evans Onduko.
Mr Onduko said he attacked Mariara as he raised alarm to attract members of the public.
"I beat him up for doing a such heinous act to the cow that he is still milking."
Area assistant chief, Patroba Nyamwaya wondered why Mariara could engage in sex with the cow yet there are so many women 'loitering' in Keroka town who wants to be married.
"They beat Mariara before reporting the matter to my office. I'm still in shock why Mariara decided to spoil his own cow instead he could have gone to hire even a sex worker to satisfy his sexual needs," he said.
